Central Oahu

Welcome to Central Oahu

Conveniently located in the middle of the island, 30 minutes from amenities, and surrounded by stunning views

Nestled between the Koolau and Waianae mountains, Central Oahu is a smaller section of the island known for its suburban feel and highly-rated school districts. Due to its location in the middle of Oahu, the area is not a major tourist attraction. It's surrounded by cane fields, mountain ranges, and small canyons that make for beautiful views.

Although Central Oahu is mostly a residential area, it's only a few miles from Downtown Honolulu. It's also close to several military bases like Wheeler Air FieldFort SchaferHickam Air Force Base, and Schofield Barracks. Many of the military personnel stationed in these bases choose to live in Mililani or Wahiawa. You'll also find all the pineapple fields — perfect for exploring, touring, and tasting. There is an assortment of dining, local shopping, and big box retailers that meet the residents' needs.

Central Oahu's real estate market has something for everyone. Mililani showcases large, master-planned communities, Pearl City is known for its charming retro 1960s architecture, while properties in Aiea have a distinctive mid-century style.
